SEAWORLD ORLANDO’S HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR

When my kids were little, we used to do this multiple times each year.  It was our favorite place to "trick or treat". They would wear their costumes to the park and fill their Halloween bags full of candy !!!

You too can join in on the fun every weekend in October at SeaWorld for silly, spooky fun at Halloween Spooktacular. During this daytime event, families will be immersed in an underwater "fantasea" filled with trick-or-treating, dancing with sea fairies and pumpkin fish and sea-themed arts and crafts.

 

SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular takes place weekends in October: 5-6, 12-13, 19-20 and 26-27, from 12 to 8 p.m., leaving the littlest of trick-or-treaters wide-eyed for all of the fun-filled activities. Halloween Spooktacular is included with park admission.

Princess Penelope and her undersea friends invite guests to join the Spooktacular Dance Party, where children can dance along to a Spooktacular mix of line-dancing favorites as clouds of bubbles fill the evening air. Waves of Trick-or-Treat Fun

I probably don’t need to even tell you how great Breyers ice cream is and with the addition of their Breyers Blasts, you are sure to find a flavor that you will love.  I wish I could have found their latest flavor “Strawberry Shortcake” but since I couldn’t I chose the Breyers Blast Oreo and it was a HUGE hit in my house (I made shakes out of it for all the kids).

And last by certainly not least, Popsicle is delivering yet another unexpected combination with Yosicle Swirlz!, featuring creamy swirls of Chocolate & Vanilla and Strawberry-Red Raspberry and Strawberry-Banana. Popsicle is also partnering with the bright and cheerful Hello Kitty brand to create new Popsicle Hello Kitty Fun Bunch ice pops.

Arabian Nights "The Royal Celebration" in Orlando Florida

"The Royal Celebration" is an all-new Arabian Nights experience -the first complete revision of the show in 14 years. The show features several exciting new acts - along with a few of their greatest hits - woven together through a tale of romantic adventure that will introduce you to a variety of horses and riders from around the world.

I got the opportunity to take my kids to this new show and we all had such a great time.  When you first enter you will be in a preshow area where you will get to snack on things like chips & salsa and pasta salad.  There is also a full bar if you would like a drink and you can even get your face painted by enchanted body art (Kyle picked a Batman mask).   My kids also really liked getting a pressed penny (which is the perfect way to get an inexpensive souvenir).  You will then watch a belly dancer and kids will be invited to learn how to do it themselves.

If you purchased the VIP experience you will get let in early to take a tour of the stables, meet some of the performers and you can even get your picture taken on a horse.  I highly recommend upgrading your ticket so you can do this... it was one of my favorite things of the night.

After the backstage tour, you will head to your seat to experience the show which is a tale of intrigue, magic, and love.  Guests of all ages are invited to witness the magnificent wedding of the beautiful Princess Amirah and the bold Prince Raswan, and the joining of the two most powerful Bedouin kingdoms, the Saglawi and the Ruala. Join us, as the magic of the great Genie and the mysterious Sorcerer take us to the corners of the earth to deliver spectacles of wonder on horseback. See the grace of the splendid Black Stallion. Admire the mystical Unicorns, last of their kind. Watch in awe as the performers for this royal wedding display daring and skill with incredible acrobatics and intricate riding. Free LEGO Pirate Mini Build on Sept 3

LEGO Pirate: Tuesday, September 3, begins at 5:00 pm until supplies last.
Visit your local LEGO Store on the first Tuesday of every month and you can learn how to build a cool mini model, and take it home – for free! Cedar's Product Review and Coupon Giveaway

 

I am a HUGE fan of hommus so when Cedars Foods said I could do a review of some of their products, I decided I would pick out 5 different flavors to try.  I selected Garlic Lovers, Garden Vegetable, Roasted Red Chili Pepper, Roasted Eggplant and Sundried Tomato & Basil.

 

My absolute favorite was the Garlic Lovers but I was shocked at how incredible the Garden Vegetable one was as well.  It had a garlic/green pepper taste that was REALLY good.  The Roasted Red Chili Pepper one has a HOT kick to it so if you like spicy, you will really like that one.  And the Sundried Tomato and Basil one was pretty good as well (not sure if I will get it again but I did like it).  Sadly, I wasn't all that impressed with the roasted eggplant and won't be buying that one again.

 

One of my boy friends favorite Cedar's products was the chickpea salad and he said he will be getting that more often from now on.

And I just love getting the little snack sized hummus and chips for the kids lunchboxes!!!

Make sure you keep your eyes out for deals at Whole Foods because they put the hommus on BOGO sales all the time !!!
